It's frustrating how a singular negative check in can absolutely tank a plugshare site score. This person has a legitimate complaint as the charger was iced. But it's a shame it took the site down to a 7.9/10 when it has overwhelming positive reviews otherwise

@rebel1996 @TesCalendar1 We have exactly that! For participating hotels, loyalty members get a discount anywhere between 20% and 100%. The local hotel owner or corporate chain owner (depending on location) reimburses the difference.

@TesCalendar1 @rebel1996 If a CPO installs and manages the charging assets at their own cost, they need some sort of a return and cannot offer charging at "cost". This is not to say that price gouging isn't far too common. It is real and harming adoption.

@TesCalendar1 @rebel1996 The cost of electricity isn't the whole picture. You also have to account for network fees, card processing fees, insurance etc. And while I'm biased, hotels shouldn't be managing their own chargers. That is why so many are indefinitely broken.

@spotted_model 💯 FSD is one of the most significant advancements in technology in the last 25 years and I'm in awe of the tech. But I don't really care to use it? I've had it in the past and every time a new version comes out I'll resubscribe. But it doesn't really make my life easier.

@SnazzyLabs @brandenflasch Kinda a blend between price and speed for me. Multiple times I've picked a sub 100kW charger with killer pricing because I wanted to take a break and have a sit down meal. But usually I'll pick whatever is priced best above 180kW

@teslaloosa @jacecraftmiller Yeah it seems a little jarring at first bc we tend to equate compact with cheap. However they are aiming for class leading tech, charging, range, towing capacity, payload etc.

@teslaloosa @jacecraftmiller Telo is going to be the approx footprint of a mini Cooper (152"x73"). Although they are using a mid-gateto allow for 8ft in bed space when down. It can tow far heavier and has more premium features, but is expected to start between $45 and $50k

But if you don't consider a 46% increase in base pricing over 4 years a rapid increase in MSRP you are not looking at things through an logical lens. It significantly outpaces both inflation and other OEMs on comparable products
