A huge part of our filmmaking process is using the natural elements and sun in order to beautifully light our subjects. In this image we utilized the mid-afternoon overcasted sun to create an airy and serene scene. 🌤️

And of course DP @KevinGarrison would shed his sandals and step into the sea while capturing this shot for @GeniusWorldINC before the sun goes down.

A First Assistant Camera (or 1st AC) is one of the most skilled jobs on set. They are largely responsible for capturing the perfect shot during production. This means ensuring the subject remains in focus throughout the scene. The 1st AC’s role is to essentially manage the camera crew and make sure filming runs smoothly, take after take. 🎥

Our super 1st AC @1993Atreyu doing some final checks on the camera before we roll for a shot on the @GeniusWorldINC project.

Atreyu is always on top of the ball as he manages an entire fleet of cameras and gear as they travel around the globe. You can imagine that he has eyes everywhere making sure all is accounted for and in working order. 👀👀👀
