US is so under supplied of quality rental housing, one would think, regulation would be the first thing eliminated!

@trisourcecap One of the greatest barriers to building more affordable housing is government regulations, and access of capital. Tax Credits are not applicable for workforce housing renters throughout the country. Few programs or incentives exist promoting quality workforce housing.
Cap rates for multifamily remain lower than any other CRE Sector and forecasted to further decline according to CBRE latest report. U.S. desperately needs more affordable/moderate affordable rental housing.
