Sure you can abdicate your most fundamental right as a citizen which is to choose your government representatives. I don't question that.
What I question is your judgment for doing so and I'm using your own moral argument as evidence, because if you really cared about moral degradation, you would do everything in your power i.e. vote in order to stop the extreme moral threat that Talarico and his policies represent.
And btw, you can thank President Trump for installing a 6-3 majority on the Supreme Court, which would never have happened had Hillary Clinton been elected.
Always remember that elections have consequences.
@HomerKnowsBest1@e_cdalton Haha, the dude is 5'7" π.
But the point is you don't need to automatically assume a guy Ben Stiller's age is juicing up just because he is fit.
Truth hurts and it's just math. For every person who chooses not to vote for Paxton it's a vote that Talarico doesn't need to overcome so he is the beneficiary.
This is pretty simple logic but you want to stubbornly blame others while you try to grandstand on some imaginary moral high ground.
You are someone my mother would describe back in day as the person who would cut their nose off just to spite their face.
I assume they will say more ballots are being received and the percentage is the difference between what has been counted v how many have come in and yet to be counted.
So in theory the percentage counted can go down if the total number of ballots continues to rise.
We know how they operate and it's disgraceful.
No, it's actually on you. Only you have agency how to decide to use your vote.
And the responsibility of the outcome will also be on you should Talarico win.
Unfortunately, Talarico is the one who gets your vote by your refusal to stop him, and sadly as a result, everyone else who voted to stop him will have to live with the consequences of voters like you who abdicate their vote.
I hope you reconsider.
@texasrunnerDFW My early childhood home was in Richardson at 203 Lois Lane (I kid you not), looked just like this one and my parents bought it for $9k in 1959.
It's still there and Zillow values it at $350k.
Except Hunter was investigated and tried by his father's DOJ while Joe was President. And a court convicted him.
All the while, Joe insisted he would not pardon his son for his actions and would let justice play out. But he pardoned him anyway to save Hunter from the actions of his own DOJ. Not exactly letting justice prevail.
Those are simply the facts which occurred before Trump became President.
@DrNescio@JonathanTurley Seems you missed the part that Jonathan noted, that Hunter was tried and convicted by his father's Dept of Justice before Trump was President.
Yet Biden still pardoned him, clearly demonstrating that he lied about it during the campaign.
