I spent 8 years trying to figure out how to make money online.
In 2026, it finally clicked.
But weirdly enough, making the money isn't what I feel most grateful for.
Back in 2022 and 2023, life was absolute bliss. I was dialed.
I built one of the largest finance Discord servers, made really good money from it, and met some insanely solid, like-minded people along the way.
Then toward the end of 2024, I impulsively moved to Phoenix, AZ.
Away from my family. Away from everything I knew.
I moved into a 4 bedroom house with empty walls, one car in the garage, and nobody around me.
No school. No job. No connections.
Just a bank account full of money I made on the internet.
And I completely lost my mind.
I was putting myself in the ER 4 nights a week because of crippling anxiety and depression.
Eventually I moved back home and had to rebuild myself from literally ground zero.
Some days I felt physically incapable of doing anything, so I'd force myself to walk around the block, come home, and bed rot for the rest of the day.
That was progress.
Eventually walking around the block turned into the gym twice a day and hikes.
I lost weight. Gained my muscle back. Got married. Moved to Ireland for a few months just to decompress from life and everything that had happened.
Then 2026 came around and my life changed out of nowhere.
I built https://t.co/smxeMI97rT.
I saw a massive supply/demand gap for offshore payment processing in the peptide industry and went after it.
A few merchants making me $5k/month turned into 50+ merchants and a $50k month, while working maybe an hour a week.
I'm still trying to process it.
The weirdest lesson I've learned after 8 years of doing this is that the projects I worked the hardest on usually made me the least money.
But they gave me the experience that made everything after them possible.
For years, I looked at my old businesses as income sources that eventually died.
Now I realize they were never just income sources.
Every business, failure, connection, stressful night, stupid decision, and person I met was teaching me something I didn't know I'd need later.
And eventually all of it compounded into something.
I don't vocalize my appreciation enough.
So today I just wanted to say I'm genuinely grateful for the people I've met, the opportunities I've had, the failures I've gone through, and even the periods of my life I would've done anything to escape while I was living them.
It took 8 years for things to finally click.
Wouldn't trade the journey for anything.
@justinfishertv bro they arent a company lmao they are a group of friends tryna bring back nostalgia. let them get the IP then they will GAF but for right now dont be sensitive. they do some stupid shit just for the lols cus they can and know they can. just relax
@justinfishertv@sLoth083_@teufeurs@h1z1rotk Bro it’s not a company it’s a friend group of like 3 guys. You’re acting wayyyy to emotional. They’re giving you shit because it was a retarded question. Just rub it off, let your nerves settle and move on. Brother how did you make it in h1z1, you’re so soft 😭
@justinfishertv@Hedm6n@teufeurs That’s like going to store you have a bunch of credit on and try to redeem it in an entirely different store.
Can’t expect a different company to fulfill on the old h1 cosmetics.
@andi_losing Thats the thing man, I feel 9 times out of 10 there will always be someone who has already done something.
Difference is...
Who is better marketing it? Who has the best offer?
I have an app idea that will print, trying to find someone who can partner to bring the idea alive
@kingzut@schtickschtuv@Dexerto But I’ve never seen that on the market. And I do Ai all day for real estate. Feel like that image is obvious to inflate tweet engagement. It’s just not realistic and anybody with a brand can tell it’s Ai
@doublebad69@Dexerto “Fraudulently advertised scam”
Brother Ai images are simply improving the quality of the original images and possibly virtually staging.
You’re dramatic af 😂
@Daniel726050850 @Dexerto Okay how about this.
What if, the agent is taking pictures with an iPhone, and the quality just is not good and showcasing the quality of the home. So in person it looks way better than online.
What’s the difference?
Now the agent isn’t getting showings
