As our country marks 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence, we pause to give thanks for the blessings God has poured out on this nation — above all, the freedom to live and share our Catholic faith, a faith that grounds the dignity and justice we seek for every person.
Today, the bishops of the United States will consecrate our nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Tomorrow evening, at the Cathedral of the Risen Christ, I will consecrate the Diocese of Lincoln to that same Sacred Heart. We pray Jesus' Sacred Heart will pour out upon us his mercy and love as we strive to bring more people closer to Christ, especially here in southern Nebraska.
Saint Pope John Paul II said that the Sacred Heart of Jesus “has given men everything: redemption, salvation, sanctification.”
Today, with gratitude for this most amazing gift, the Bishops of the United States are consecrating our country to the Most Sacred Heart.
Catholics, Christians, and all patriots should read this message from the President and pray for our country today.

My mom paid off her house in 2003.
Thought that was it. Thought she was done. Thought it was finally hers.
Property taxes were $1,800 a year back then.
She’s retired now. Fixed income. Same house. Same neighborhood.
Property taxes are $24,000 a year.
That’s $2,000 a month.
On a house she already paid for.
She’s 71 years old and the government sends her a bill every year just to stay in her own home.
You never really own anything in America.
You just make payments to a different landlord.
"Today, ...our Nation and our culture confront a new set of menacing ideologies seeking once again to cast God out from our society. But today, as Catholic Bishops consecrate the United States of America to the Sacred Heart of Jesus in this 250th year of our Independence, we recommit ourselves, like President Reagan and Pope Saint John Paul II, to defending our spiritual identity and great civilizational inheritance. Above all, we pray that America will continue for the next 250 years, and beyond, to be a land of faith, a country of miracles, and a light and glory to all nations."
Glory to God forever.
Reporter: “Saying that [illegal alien children being human trafficked] was encouraged is quite a charge. I mean what evidence do you have of that?”
Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche: “You can insert whatever word you want. I said encourage. If you know there’s a problem and you’re in a position of leadership to stop it and you don’t stop it, what word should I use?”
“They knew it was happening it was brought to their attention it was happening and they didn’t do anything to stop it.”
He shoved his fingers through her spandex, digitally penetrating her.
The victim shouted to her mom that his fingers were inside her "c**chie."
This is so disturbing. She's a 15-year-old girl & this young man assaulted her in public in a wrestling match.

@DHSgov@SecMullinDHS Sweet. We have some Catholic Charities folks in Texas (El Paso, RGV, San Antonio, Dallas, Ft Worth) you probably want to bring in for questioning.
.@SecMullinDHS on rescuing the hundreds of thousands of missing children brought to the U.S. under Biden:
We found 146,000 kids so far. Some of these kids claimed that they were raped over 600 times. I don't care who you are. If you can't stand for law enforcement to go find these kids, who are you?
