Hear directly from one of our AIMers about the positive impact AIM has had on their life. #Testimonial#AIMImpact#Empower
Meet Alicia: "Being a part of AIM has made me very independent. And I love living in my own apartment. I like the fun social events we get to do together."
@AIMaustintx needs your help to reach our fundraising goal. Please donate to help make independence possible for this amazing group!https://t.co/mMmlfxiEWn
AIM is hiring! We are looking for drivers to take AIMers to and from work. Pay is competitive, the work is rewarding, and drivers can make the hours they work fit to their schedule. Fill out the form if you're interested in learning more! https://t.co/QCXPMxn7KB
On this day in 1968, my mother Eunice opened the first World Games in Chicago, and @SpecialOlympics was born. Walls began to crumble, bridges built, eyes opened, and healing started for people with ID - and the rest of us too. The #1 lesson? Everyone has ability, no exceptions.
Those of you who have made independence possible for adults with disabilities in central Texas have blown us away with your generosity. We set a goal of raising $22,500 for our community, and we are delighted to say that we have EXCEEDED our goal!
Wow! Thanks to the generosity of so many, AIM won the $2,500 Early Giving Prize for the small nonprofit with the most dollars raised during Early Giving! So amazing!
Did you know a $25 donation to AIM provides enough to take an AIMer to/from work? AIMer Zach is thankful for community support which allows him to grab a ride from Sparky (the van) after a day's work at Target.
Please go to the link in our bio if you'd like to donate!
Looking for a reason to believe even when times are tough? Check out my mom, my aunt, the athletes of @SpecialOlympics, and my kids, too! @timshriverjr@kshriverr
