My Generation Is Blind to the Prosperity Around Us!
I'm sitting in a small coffee shop near Nokomis (Florida) trying to think of what to write about. I scroll through my newsfeed on my phone looking at the latest headlines of presidential candidates calling for policies to "fix" the so-called injustices of capitalism. I put my phone down and continue to look around.
I see people talking freely, working on their MacBook's, ordering food they get in an instant, seeing cars go by outside, and it dawned on me. We live in the most privileged time in the most prosperous nation and we've become completely blind to it.
Vehicles, food, technology, freedom to associate with whom we choose. These things are so ingrained in our American way of life we don't give them a second thought.
We are so well off here in the United States that our poverty line begins 31 times above the global average. Thirty One Times!!!
Virtually no one in the United States is considered poor by global standards. Yet, in a time where we can order a product off Amazon with one click and have it at our doorstep the next day, we are unappreciative, unsatisfied, and ungrateful. ??
Our unappreciation is evident as the popularity of socialist policies among my generation continues to grow. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently said to Newsweek talking about the millennial generation, "An entire generation, which is now becoming one of the largest electorates in America, came of age and never saw American prosperity."
Never saw American prosperity! Let that sink in.
When I first read that statement, I thought to myself, that was quite literally the most entitled and factually illiterate thing I've ever heard in my 26 years on this earth. Many young people agree with her, which is entirely misguided.
My generation is being indoctrinated by a mainstream narrative to actually believe we have never seen prosperity. I know this first hand, I went to college, let's just say I didn't have the popular opinion, but I digress.
Why then, with all of the overwhelming evidence around us, evidence that I can even see sitting at a coffee shop, do we not view this as prosperity? We have people who are dying to get into our country.
People around the world destitute and truly impoverished. Yet, we have a young generation convinced they've never seen prosperity, and as a result, we elect some politicians who are dead set on taking steps towards abolishing capitalism.
Why? The answer is this,?? my generation has only seen prosperity. We have no contrast. We didn't live in the great depression, or live through two world wars, the Korean War, The Vietnam War or we didn't see the rise and fall of socialism and communism.
We don't know what it's like to live without the internet, without cars, without smartphones. We don't have a lack of prosperity problem. We have an entitlement problem, an ungratefulness problem, and it's spreading like a plague."
How about you stop raising your kids to be violent, or stop raising them to be racist, how about you teach them about Humanity. No Black Mom feels this way unless she’s raising her child to be a criminal. The victim mentality is toxic and flows through the hood like a river. #jasminecrocket #blm
We have lost our minds.
A jury convicted Karmelo Anthony of murder for stabbing 17-year-old Austin Metcalf to death. Evidence was presented. Witnesses testified. Self-defense was rejected. He got 35 years.
That’s not a “legal lynching.” That’s justice.
Crying racism because the killer is Black and the victim was White doesn’t change the facts: actions have consequences.
Austin is dead. His family grieves. The system worked.
Stop excusing violence.

The Mayor of Charlotte is demanding people stop posting this reminder of the lovely innocent Iryna Zarutska butchered by a savage on Charlotte public transit. He was on probation by a liberal activist judge.
This “psy-op” stuff has become such a ridiculous cope. Many of us lived through the OJ trial. There is a long and very well established precedent of large swaths of the black community tribally supporting black killers who are clearly guilty. I know it’s troubling to think about but it’s real. Face it. Deal with it. Not everything is a conspiracy by shadowy government actors. Some things are actually real. This is real. Sorry.
Black guy PUNCHES a random White man in the face because he thinks he was on Karmelo Anthony's jury selection
He also threatens his life saying, "You gonna die."
How is this not a hate crime? @fbi
Sens. Sanders and Warren celebrated Graham Platner's win last night. It appears that the rape-mocking, sex-texting, Hamas-praising, Nazi-tattooed, veteran-abusing, self-proclaimed communist is the right man to bring them back into power... https://t.co/yRyfjcUbXz
💥NEW: Jillian Michaels: “I gotta be honest: it seems to me that Trump is the ONLY one standing between US and the COMPLETE loss of free and fair elections.”
“You know, I used to think that Trump was INSANE for suggesting that the 2020 election was stolen. And now, I’m just — I’m actually not so sure.”
“Because these ANIMALS in California are not just changing election law — they’re changing what elections actually ARE!”
For a decade, the Left has used the word "Nazi" as an artillery shell against the Right. But suddenly, they're fully fine supporting a man WHO HAD A NAZI DEATH HEAD TATTOO?! They just confessed that their use of “Nazi” was never based in principle. It was always just a weapon. That’s the problem with the Democratic Party. They don’t have anything they actually believe in, except winning at any cost. That is why they propped up Graham Platner.
Black pilot, West Point graduate, and combat veteran Wesley Hunt delivered a masterclass response:
“Hey Jasmine… Black pilot here.
I graduated from West Point. I went through Army flight school. I learned to fly the AH-64 Apache. I deployed to combat and flew 55 combat missions over Baghdad.
Nobody handed me a cockpit because of my skin color. Nobody lowered the standards for me.
Suggesting that Black pilots, engineers, doctors, or leaders need special preferences to succeed is not empowering, it’s insulting.
I didn’t want a different standard. I wanted the same standard.”
He ended with a powerful line:
“Merit isn’t racist. Excellence isn’t discriminatory. And reducing every achievement to skin color says far more about your worldview than it does about mine.”
This is the kind of clarity and backbone America needs right now.
The three black jurors who were struck from Karmelo Anthony's jury were teachers and coaches and, to their credit, acknowledged that they couldn't be fair and impartial.
They were struck for cause, not peremptary challenges.
A Batson challenge on appeal will fail.
This black man is threatening white people not to go outside this weekend because of the jury that found Karmelo Anthony guilty.
He dares people to wear an Austin Metcalf shirt.
All these people know is violence.
FBI might want to check this guy out!
What’s your reaction?
People lost their lives and others were permanently disabled because the FDA failed to do its job.
The FDA knew that its algorithm was hiding safety signals associated with the COVID injection — yet it failed to warn the public.
Jonathan Pettigrew was just murdered on a bus in NYC on his way to pick up his young daughter after asking a rider to lower the volume on the phone
Police and media are only identifying the suspect as a “teen with a white shirt”
Excellent point right here.
Stop pretending as if Karmelo Anthony stabbed him in the leg and accidentally hit the main artery.
He stabbed him in the chest. The only reason to stab someone in the chest is if you want to take their life.
