Muhammad was not an Ishmaelite. Islam is not an Abrahamic religion.
If you’re a Bible-believing Christian, then Genesis 11, 12, 13, 17, 20, 21, 25 absolutely wreck the idea of Abraham ever going to Mecca, let alone Ishmael and Hagar.
The logic:
•Abraham had Ishmael
•Ishmael went to Mecca
•Muhammad is from Ishmael
•Islam is Abrahamic.
It is not logical. Ishmael never stepped foot in Mecca. Muhammad didn’t even know his own family tree. Even honest Islamic scholars admit the gaps here.
When I was Muslim, I knew the story in Surah 2.
King Saul leads his army out, God tests them at a river — don’t drink, or you’re not with me — and only a few pass. Then they fight, and David kills Goliath. Surah 2:249-251.
Clean story. Until you open the Bible and find that the river test isn’t Saul’s at all.
It’s Gideon’s. Judges 7.
God tells Gideon his army is too big. So he tests them at the water. The men who lap like a dog go one way, the men who kneel go another. God whittles 32,000 men down to 300, so Israel can’t brag that they won by their own strength.
That’s the test. And it belongs to GIDEON. A judge. About 150 years BEFORE Saul was ever king.
You know what shook me?
The Quran took Gideon’s water test, pinned it on Saul, and then stitched the David and Goliath battle onto the end of it.
Two separate stories, from two different centuries, fused into one.
It’s the exact same thing the Quran does with Moses and Jacob. Take a detail from one hero, glue it onto another, compress the timeline.
I used to say the Bible mixed things up.
But the Bible keeps Gideon and Saul as two distinct men, 150 years apart, with two distinct stories.
It’s the later book that merged them.
And here’s what I couldn’t ignore.
Gideon’s 300 won so that no one could boast. The whole point was: the victory is God’s, not yours.
That’s the Gospel in advance. You don’t win by your strength. You win by His.
“Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord.” Zechariah 4:6.
The Bible kept the story straight because the story was going somewhere.
It was going to a cross, where God won the victory alone, so no one could ever boast they saved themselves.

Riaan Swiegelaar was the co-founder and reverend of the South African Satanic Church. He spent years involved in the occult as a practicing Satanist, witch, and psychic, leading thousands within the movement.
In 2022, while performing a ritual by himself, the room suddenly became filled with light. He turned and saw a man standing there who said, “I am Yeshua of Nazareth.”
Swiegelaar replied, “I don’t believe you. You’re going to have to prove it.”
In his own words: “He flooded me with the most beautiful love and energy. I recognized it instantly. That is how I recognized the love of Christ.”
He fell to his knees because he could no longer remain standing. A few weeks later, on July 4, 2022, he went live on Facebook and publicly announced that he was leaving Satanism. He stepped down as reverend of the South African Satanic Church and has since dedicated himself to deliverance ministry, helping others leave the occult.
No one is beyond the reach of Christ. ✝️
"You Christians worship a God-man."
Yes. That's literally the Gospel. As a Muslim, I used to think that was the ultimate criticism.
Now I think it's the most beautiful truth I've ever heard. Because Christianity doesn't teach that God stayed distant.
It teaches that God came near. The One who created galaxies stepped into His own creation.
Not to show off or dominate. Not to sit on a throne demanding more from us.
But to suffer for us, to walk among us. To carry our grief, and bleed for us. To die for us. And to rise again.
What finally changed my perspective was realizing that "Son of God" never meant God had a biological child.
In the Jewish world, it meant sharing the same nature.
The claim wasn't that God had a baby. The claim was that God revealed Himself. And honestly, that's where Islam lost me.
Because I spent years believing God would never humble Himself enough to enter His creation. Then I realized that's exactly what makes Him glorious.
Not that He stayed far away. That He came close.
Close enough to touch lepers. Close enough to weep. Close enough to suffer. Close enough to die. So yes, Christians worship the God-man. Because no mere man could save us.
And a god who remains forever distant cannot show us the depth of divine love.
But Jesus did. Fully God, fully man and fully enough.
Students were filmed intensively praying for the rescue of the kidnapped schoolchildren and teachers in Oyo state.
It is an unfortunate turn of events that rather than focusing on academics, our school children have now turned into prayer warriors over man-made issues.✍️
This is the best kind of protest. Let school children in their uniforms stand at the front, while parents, youths, and other citizens stand behind them in solidarity. Then the whole world can see the situation for what it is and judge how those in authority respond to peaceful demonstrations. A united people speaking with one voice can send a powerful message.
Then if they try their confidence then it will turn to revolution instantly
Repost lets send this message in the whole country
When I was Muslim, I would argue & say we had the same prophets as Christians.
But this one broke me:
Surah 17:101: Allah gave Moses 9 clear signs.
I knew the list. The staff. The shining hand. The drought. The flood. The locusts. The lice. The frogs. The blood.
I held onto those 9 signs like proof I had the real story.
But bro, you know what shook me?
There’s a night missing.
After all nine signs, right before Israel walks out of Egypt, something happens that the Quran goes completely silent on.
A lamb is slaughtered.
Its blood painted on the doorposts.
And death passes over every house covered by that blood.
The Passover.
I grew up hearing the whole Exodus story. But nobody ever told me about the blood on the door.
Islam just skips it.
And here’s what wrecked me.
The Bible, the book I was taught was corrupted, mentions the Passover over 70 times.
Exodus. Leviticus. Numbers. Deuteronomy. The Psalms. The Prophets. The Gospels. Paul.
70 times.
So I had to ask myself the honest question:
If men corrupted this book, why would they obsess over the same story for 1500 years? Across dozens of authors who never met?
You don’t forge a document 70 times.
That’s just not corruption.
That to me is preservation.
And then I read the line that finished me off.
1 Corinthians 5:7.
“Christ our Passover lamb has been sacrificed.”
That’s when it hit me.
The whole story was never just about Moses.
It was always pointing to a King.
The final lamb. Whose blood, when applied to your life, makes death pass over you.
Forever.
The Quran gave me 9 signs but hid the one night that explains why any of them happened.
Because the moment a Muslim understands the Passover…
he’s one step away from the cross.
