I last saw you and Papa together more than 35 years ago. Since the day Papa left, I have watched you face everything life threw at you with never-ending courage and dignity. Only Priyanka and I really know what you have been through, and how difficult your life after Papa truly was.

I am happy, and so proud, that your story - “Belonging: A Journey of Love” - will finally be read by the millions of people who love you. I know how hard it was for someone as private as you to tell the world your beautiful story.

Today, on his birthday, I can see Papa smiling and looking down proudly at his beautiful Sonia.

‘सामाजिक न्याय का राज’ लाने में साथ निभानेवाले सब लोगों का स्वागत है। हमें अपनी एकता का संकल्प हर बार दोहराना है, और सांप्रदायिक ताक़तों को दबे-छिपे लाभ पहुँचानेवालों के चेहरे से परदा हटाना है।

PDA राजनीति से बहुत ऊपर उठकर देश की 95% उस आबादी के हक़-अधिकार, मान-सम्मान और ख़ुशहाली-तरक़्क़ी का आंदोलन है, जो सदियों से हर समाज में शोषित, वंचित, ग़रीब रहे हैं। ‘पीडीए’ पीड़ा के एकसूत्र से बंधे हैं और 5% परंपरागत वर्चस्ववादियों के अत्याचार व प्रभुत्व के कारण पीढ़ियों से ‘पीड़ित, दुखी, अपमानित’ रहे हैं। ‘प्रेम, दया, अपनापन’ पीडीए की एकता का मूल आधार है।

वो हर कोई पीडीए में शामिल है, जिसके पास रहम और इंसानियत भरा दिल है।

I had the privilege of taking the oath of office as a Member of the Council of States, again. It is a matter of immense pride and responsibility to continue serving this august Upper House as the Leader of the Opposition.

I extend my sincere gratitude to the Hon’ble Vice President of India and Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan, and to the Hon’ble Deputy Chairman, Shri Harivansh, for their continued support.

I also express my heartfelt gratitude to the leadership of the Indian National Congress, especially CPP Chairperson, Smt. Sonia Gandhi and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Shri @RahulGandhi, my fellow colleagues & MPs in the Congress Party, and to the countless party workers and supporters whose unwavering faith and encouragement have sustained me throughout my long journey in public life and Parliamentary service.

I am equally grateful to the Floor Leaders of all political parties, especially our colleagues in the INDIA bloc, and the wider Opposition, for their cooperation and camaraderie. I look forward to even stronger coordination during the forthcoming Monsoon Session of Parliament so that, together, we can make the government of the day more accountable.

दशकों में पहली बार CBSE बोर्ड परीक्षा पर इतने गंभीर सवाल उठे हैं। 18.5 लाख बच्चों ने परीक्षा दी - और एक हफ़्ते से OSM, ग़���त मार्किंग और जाँच की गड़बड़ी की शिकायतें अनसुनी पड़ी हैं और शिक्षा मंत्री अपनी कुर्सी से चिपके हुए हैं।

एक 17 साल का बच्चा, जिसकी कॉपी ग़लत जाँची गई, न्याय की उम्मीद में सोशल मीडिया पर आया।

मगर, उसे मदद नहीं, गालियाँ मिलीं - BJP के IT cell ने उसे “Anti-National” कहा, “Soros का एजेंट” कहा, “Deep State” का हिस्सा कहा।

एक 17 साल का बच्चा अपने भविष्य के लिए आवाज़ उठाता है और यह BJP उसे देशद्रोही बना देती है।

सच यह है - मोदी सरकार युवाओं और Gen Z से डरती है, क्योंकि वो अब सवाल पूछ रहे हैं। और जो सवाल पूछे, उसे यह सरकार बदनाम करती है, डराती ��ै, कुचलती है।

पर सुन लीजिए, मोदी जी - यही युवा, यही Gen-Z आपका अहंकार तोड़ेगा।
