@MelGibso1 It’s only been mandated by law for 43yrs (April 9, 1983). Hijabs were actually banned (January 8, 1936) for 47yrs prior to the new law & the only reason they became mandated was to establish political control & visually distinguish the new regime. EVEN NONMUSLIMS HAVE TO COMPLY🤨
