@crisortunity Potentially Jan Gehl’s work? When Copenhagen municipality measured city success by data about motor vehicles, Jan and his team went and collected data about people. They made it their job to back up the other side of the story.
Only one week to go until the London Mayoral election.

Loving the new bike lanes on Queensferry Road - thanks to @Edinburgh_CC for a huge improvement. Sadly, so is this car who gets full marks for parking simultaneously on a double yellow line, pavement and bike lane. Is there anything @edinhelp that can be done in these situations?
We're filming our next @BikeIsBestHQ advert and are in central London this Monday 12 & Tuesday 13 April. We're looking to film and photograph a wide range of people cycling - if you'd like to be considered, please DM a recent photo of you cycling + your email address.

@laura_laker pointed out that in the Netherlands, more bike journeys are made by women than men. That's because cycling is well suited to the kinds of trips women tend to make: short journeys; trip chaining. Once they have the infrastructure to do it safely, women choose it.
💥Boom💥 New data: In less than 12 months @MayorofLondon@tfl & @londoncouncils have built 100km of new cycle lanes & hundreds of km of quieter streets. The result? Last weekend we saw a 200%+ increase in cycling (300%+ in some places). Amazing!! Build it & they will come.🚲🚲🚲
