In 1867 the Canadian government decided to use my name for their providence.

⚠️💨 ANOTHER WIND BAG FOR NORTHERN ILLINOIS?! 💨⚠️

The RFS model is trying to reload the atmosphere and bring another potentially significant long-duration damaging wind event across Northern Illinois and the Chicagoland area Wednesday morning. ⛈️🌬️

Latest model guidance is depicting another organized storm complex capable of producing 65–80+ MPH wind gusts, which would be especially concerning after Tuesday’s destructive storms left trees and infrastructure weakened across the region. 🌳⚡️

This is still model guidance, not a guarantee, but the signal definitely deserves attention. NWS Chicago is also highlighting another risk for thunderstorms and damaging winds. (National Weather Service)
