trauma LITERALLY changes how our brains function yet people are really out here saying, “just let go of your past” OK LMAO

that sick feeling when you can actually feel the pain in your chest from hearing something or seeing something that really breaks your heart

[Jenni @hashjenni]

have you ever??? been annoyed by someone’s mindset?? like you can’t believe they actually think like that???

[a n x i e t y @ohanxiety]

And the sad part is. They’ll never know how much they hurt you.

[a n x i e t y @ohanxiety]

if you want me, make me feel that

[𝚐𝚊𝚋𝚒 @igabitha]

it takes a lot of maturity and self-awareness to realize and admit when you overreacted or had a trauma response. to be able to say the way i feel right now isn’t necessarily factual. to further investigate your hurt feelings, the origins of them and what prompted your reaction.
