It's one of the surest ways to invite good energy and luck into your life.
- Someone you're not interested in shoots their shot at you & you decline them privately, but they come out of the interaction actually feeling better about themselves because of how you handled it.
- Someone is clueless about a topic they should know about when discussing in a group –– you don't draw attention to it. Instead, you seamlessly fill in the essential gaps you spotted to educate them in a non-condescending and subtle way.
- Your friend introduces you to their family or their own group of friends and you sense your friend is the frequent butt of their jokes. They try to get you to join in on the "banter" and you refuse the easy bait.
You go the opposite way. You demonstrate the respect you have for them. You hype up people when you sense they're insecure.
You let them experience a taste of your disease, sick cvnt sepsis.
Never let people shrink around you.
Your presence becomes the reminder that they deserve to take up space.
