How is there zero sense of urgency on this team? No speed? No fight? Getting passed by teammates? Nothing. Can someone in NASCAR media explain? @Jordan_Bianchi@MattWeaverRA et. all, or are yall just going to ask the same drivers the same questions each week?
Chase Elliott spins into the wall during practice. The No. 9 car has some damage, though it doesn't have the appearance that he will need to switch to a backup car.
Can you guys talk about the falloff of Chase Elliott the past two months or so? Won two races and have been non-existent since Texas and no one is talking about it
No race this weekend so the Download will be a little different this week. @DaleJr will be joined by Jeff Burton, Marcus Smith and Matt Weaver.
What topics would you like to hear them talk about?
Larson's fate was likely sealed as soon as he exited pit lane and the crash was out of his control.
Watch the motion of the car here as he rejoins the track after his pit stop.
Those impacts put load on the sidewall of the tire and weakened it leading to an eventual blowout.
@MattWeaverRA Thats entirely my point. Chase hasn't led since a lap since Michigan, hasn't sniffed a top ten since Nashville and has been bleeding points in both the stages the actual race. He was within striking distance of 2nd after Texas, and now hes barely 5th. I WISH the issue was DNFs
This past month very well could have derailed their championship goals, especially since they're not winning right now.
The math says you likely need to be a top-5 seed. The 5 is going the wrong way.
