I’m Tyler and I am a survivor of the troubled teen industry. I spent 20 months from the ages of 13-15 at Columbus girls academy, and it completely changed me and my life in the worst way possible. In the replies will be a thread with info about the tti
Long shot, but my partner and I have 2 tickets to #mychemicalromance in Denver. We’re trying to go to the Sunrise, FL show instead bc it’s a lot closer to us. Is there anybody with sunrise tickets who would wanna swap tickets? Or anyone selling tickets to the Sunrise show?
(Basically if you want them just dm me and they’re yours- and if you’d prefer I’m fine with not receiving payment until the 27th when I can transfer the tickets) #mcr
Selling 2 tickets for #mcrdenver ! They’re in section 331, row 2, asking $180 each. They aren’t available to transfer for another 19 days, but I’m more than happy to send proof via dm and am fine with holding off on payment until they’re available to transfer #mychemicalromance
Our tickets are in section 331, so I’d wanna swap with someone with a similar section bc I absolutely don’t wanna downgrade someone section wise. Also down to buy tickets if anyone is selling depending on price, I do not care what section. #mcr#mcrsunrise#mcrdenver
@AMythicWitch There’s so many other coincidences but like. My entire life is filed with weird shit, it’s been like a lifetime movie up to this point, I’ve been told by a few people to write a book lol
@AMythicWitch Found my bio mom via 23 and me about 3 years after taking the test. Turns out we had moved to the same area around the same time, she lived 15 minutes away from me (I moved recently) behind the Walmart my best friend works at, and my brother’s middle name is the same as my name
@fuckyouiquit +but still. Couldn’t add something in the posting saying there’s a possibility they would be going back to in office soon? Or at least offer the choice of a remote position for those who applied when it was remote? Idk, employers should just list their openings accurately
@fuckyouiquit Yeah my current job was advertised on indeed as remote/work from home but when I got an interview I was told it was in office. To be fair though, it did take like 2 months until I got an interview and they had *just* started going back to office +
@Catherineamcc@DeVos1990 @Heff86575711 @n4tth5@MalloryNoePayne I went to a very tiny Christian school as a kid, we were required to take Latin from 3rd grade to 9th grade, and then we had to take Greek from 10th grade to 12th grade. Not a full 13 years, but I will still never understand the point
Another girl I went to teen challenge with is gone. We were good friends in the program, she was such a kind and gentle soul. Rest in peace my friend, you are so missed.
I firmly and truly believe that my friends who have died, would still be here if they had never gone to teen challenge. And my mind will never be changed
I place a majority of the blame on teen challenge for my friends dying. Explain to me how these people had never touched a hard drug before, but then suddenly after learning about them and trying to cope with the trauma they’ve experienced at teen challenge they’re now using them
I can’t even tell you how many people I know who had never touched a drug before tc, but started using after to cope. Or how many had new mental health problems after getting out. Teen challenge did nothing to help, but just added on trauma and made it worse for everyone
The medical neglect is not an anomaly. Tc has a history of denying medical care. It happened to me, my friends, people from other locations. They need to be held accountable.
There are no words to express the anger I feel right now. They got away with it. Teen challenge got away with this shit. They killed a child and no charges are being pressed. This is why #breakingcodesilence is so important. This shouldn’t happen
