@route66marathon I really don’t care about how many others make requests, but I know that reasonable people who care for others could consider an emergency surgery with 9 days notice to be plenty to say “hey, come back next year & kick butt.” You blew it, plain & simple! We’ll find other races.

I’m very disappointed that you would not defer my wife’s half marathon entry to next year after she had emergency surgery last week. She asked you to defer her entry over a week before the race and was denied. You blew what should’ve been an easy decision!
