Love a complexity, transdisciplinary & regen. approach

While we engage with deep, complex matters in the courses I teach (as these students are in their 3rd & final years of their degrees) I also find myself highlighting & repeating the same points literally hundreds of times a year. I’ll share some of them below.
I have been functionally depressed all of my life
A year ago I became dysfunctionally depressed & had an intense breakdown
About a month ago I suddenly realised "I'm not depressed anymore"
Not even those old familiar undercurrents
Teachers can learn to be more motivating but what behaviours matter most? @asghar_ahmadi1 got 30+ #SelfDeterminationTheory experts to agree on what behaviours help, what hurt, and why. Very useful for researchers and teachers who want to be more motivating https://t.co/wKoyvgXlS9
Great to see this piece finally out.
Embrace the #complexity of a context and put in place ways of working that allow the way that you work to #adapt and #learn over time through reflexivity.
Happy to share this article about the co-evolutionary nature of designing in complex contexts, meaning that who we work with, how we work, and what we learn and create co-evolve over time @giedre@tylerdckey https://t.co/kjqnvQtskq
@jackbutcher In most team sports (a representation of physical games) winning teams usually do less physical work because they are more tactical & more efficient.
“If co-design is not fundamentally a part of everything that we do, we will have research that is done that just never goes anywhere” ~ Prof @rebeccaivers

@TheBobWinter@NielsPflaeging Agreed, but if you can't communicate appropriately about the system with those who need to understand it, what then? You can't emphasise hard v soft you need both. He blocked me rather then supporting someone's curiosity 😂 I didn't realise supporting a claim was such a big ask.
