@LADWP We lost power again this morning, after having spent most of the week-end without power. The whole neighborhood (Beverly Glen) is out. The intersection of Beverly Glen and Scenario is a death trap without working signals - cars just speeding through, no visibility. :(
Turns out, @CitizenSleeper is false advertisement: I played it last night, and suddenly, it was 3AM, and I barely slept at all!
A fantastic game, brilliantly written, and masterfully applying the addictiveness of "one more turn" (at the expense of this citizen's sleep).
@Biolumi07121654 Stairs are permanent liminal spaces. It's like going into the backstage of our existences. I really like stairs - but I also really like all "behind the scenes" stuff.
Fun fact, in french, it's "l'envers du décor" - the other side of the decorations.
I mean sure some of us might suffer serious long-term health consequences but at least we get to really *be* there for PLACEHOLDER - QUARTERLY DELIVERABLES SYNC
@iamleyeti @ackboo Le jeu est initialement un peu compliqué à prendre en main, le premier (ou les quelques premiers) épisodes du stream sont bien pour les bases :)
@iamleyeti Soviet Republic is the best city builder of all times. I tried playing Cities Skylines after it, and it's like going from Legos to Playmobils.
I recommend watching @ackboo's saga playing it, of you're not sure. Episode 1: https://t.co/IvC8jujycK
@EpicShaders This was a fantastic presentation of an incredible work! It's especially impressive how well it scales down. At what kind of rays per pixel count (without bent normals) do you feel this breaks down? Is 1/8th the limit?
