it doesn’t feel that far away where that can happen — UI generated on the fly for anything — right now it’s technically possible (I’ve seen it demo’d with contextual menus, & artifacts spun up by LLM of choice feel close)… but one day I imagine it’ll be the whole thing

“Describe an extension” is getting close to that somewhat weird version of the future where websites just change their entire UI depending on whatever they have tracked about you (and maybe stuff you voluntarily provide somehow)… not quite of course #wwdc

Big update: last year, I finally got to work a FAANG contract and it was great. Been in Korea for over 3 months now. My son was born here, it’s what my wife and I planned. Working on his paperwork so we can return together. Hardest part has been taking meetings at 5AM w/ US peeps

@dmcgco It was in 2018, I think. I lived like a block away from the two stores that were joined by a single doorway in Portland’s Pearl District in 2019 so the partnership was well underway then. Shame HAY’s website finally got folded into DWR’s.
