@IndicVoices We've had enough of all three types of calamities and we're still as bad as before. And who is going to invade us in today's world? We're a net negative resource as a nation.
As a kid I read a chacha Chaudhry story
It said :
A thief was caught and given a choice:
Either eat 100 onions or receive 100 shoe-beatings (sau jute).
Thinking onions are easier, he starts eating them. After a few onions, the burning becomes unbearable, so he switches to shoe-beatings.
After a few shoe-beatings, he finds those even worse and switches back to onions.
He keeps changing his mind until, in the end, he has eaten all 100 onions and received all 100 shoe-beatings.
Moral : Failure to commit to a difficult choice makes things worse.
Maja Chwalinska did not win Roland Garros, but she won the hearts of everyone over the last 3 weeks.
A journey that started from qualifying.
From world #114 to a new career high ranking of world #21.
The first qualifier in history to reach the Roland Garros final.
To think that in 2021, she stopped playing tennis for months due to a battle with depression and self doubt… Back then, it would’ve been nearly impossible for her to imagine herself in a Grand Slam final.
Her father worked as an electrician in the coal mines and her mother is a receptionist.
They worked tirelessly to support her dreams from the time she was little, and they uplifted her when she had to stop playing tennis to protect her mental health.
Her run in Paris reminded the world that if you work hard at your passion every day, if you have people who love you, and if you never give up on yourself, the ranking next to your name holds no meaning…
You can still make your own fairytale.
Congratulations on everything, Maja. 🥹

Eleven years ago, Anjali Kulthe was working in the ante-natal care ward looking after 20 pregnant women when two terrorists entered the hospital. The courageous nurse not only saved lives but also identified and testified against terrorist Ajmal Kasab. True compassion and courage
It was reported that a movie theater displayed a short film which began with a snapshot of the room ceiling. No details, no colors. Just a white ceiling
The same scene remained displayed for 6 long minutes when the moviegoers started to get frustrated. Some complained about the film wasting their time and others started to leave
Suddenly, the camera lens slowly started to move until it reached down towards the floor. A small child who appeared handicap was lying fixed on the bed, suffering from a spinal cord tear
The camera then pans back up to the ceiling with the following words
We showed you only 8 minutes of this child's daily activity, only 8 minutes from the scene that this handicap child watches at all hours of his life, and you complained and weren't patient for even 6 minutes, you couldn't bear to watch it
Sometimes we need to put ourselves in others shoes in order to realize the magnitude of blessings we are given and to thank God for bestowing us with such blessings that we take for granted
@ArnazHathiram The thing abt safety approvals in India is that they're not provided on the basis of a scientific assessment of the activity. Some clerk who wrote an arts exam to get the job is giving the approval. And that too is obtained through bribery.
Our country is low IQ and incompetent.
An accidental slip became the brightest moment of the show.
What made it special wasn’t the mistake, it was the response.
Teammates immediately stepped in to support one another, turning an awkward moment into a powerful reminder of what teamwork looks like.
The best teams aren’t the ones that never fall. They’re the ones that always lift each other up.
@AlexStepherylh@bears_aware You're the retard. Because you're picking an example of someone actually assimilating and learning good habits, and complaining abt it.
As for why we're migrating, go whine to your govts. Why should we refuse an option that your govt has opened for us to move there🤷
@kamikazecash I'm a dad to a 1.5 yr old and while she's the centre of my universe and I'd do anything for her, I also understand now why many ppl don't want kids. It's not for everyone and it takes over every aspect of your life.
@bears_aware It's a pleb job. Teens do it to make pocket money during summers. If you ppl can't even do that, then it's not a surprise you're losing jobs to indians. Can't even cut grass by yourself wtf! What good are you then if you can't even do basic maintenance around your home?
