I post the practical stuff, the random wins (and fails), and whatever I find interesting. Some of itโs actually useful. A lot of itโs just for fun ๐
Because letโs be honest โ laughter really is the key to happiness.
If that sounds like your kind of feed, feel free to follow along.
Glad youโre here!
@JuniperDriver@DirtyTesLa Good info. I've never really seen that advertised. But still they shouldn't be dying like that so regularly. I think it had to have been a quality control issue or something.
X recently updated the algorithm to show more content from people you follow and like-minded communities.
So if youโre seeing this, we either already follow each otherโฆ or we should ๐
I post about Tesla life, 3D printing with the kids, tech & innovation, and whatever random stuff I find funny. Drop a follow if youโre new here.
Today is the day! I got both X Money and my FSD V14 Lite update.
I was blown away to get both at the same time.
Ready to have all the fun possible with these.
I swear the kids are just as excited as I am about this!
Who knew I could be so happy from such a silly little thing.
Then I woke up from my dream and realized I didn't have either yet... ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
This isnโt really a return to healthy historical norms. Pre WWII, most young adults stayed home while actively working toward independence, building skills, saving money, and starting families relatively young.
Today a huge portion of 18 to 29 year olds living at home arenโt grinding toward self sufficiency. Labor force participation for young men has dropped significantly over the past 15 years while time spent on video games, social media, and leisure has skyrocketed. Many are delaying or avoiding full time work, marriage, and moving out entirely.
Studies from Pew and the Census show the rise isnโt just about housing costs. Itโs also cultural. A large share of young adults openly say they prefer staying home for the comfort and lack of responsibility. Thatโs not strategic wealth building. Thatโs extended adolescence.
There are definitely motivated outliers, but the overall trend points more toward comfort and low drive than old school discipline.
@skillz17q Should be a specific class taught in schools that solely focus on the founding documents and I'm not talking about "Government" class. Declaration of Independence, The Constitution, the Federalist papers...
Having all the kids in the car (including our newborn) and still feeling completely safe is something I donโt take for granted ๐
Teslaโs safety record + FSD has made a real difference. I can actually relax a bit more knowing the whole crew is protected ๐
