Student Terrariums for our Mold Experiment - We learned that hot chili powder (1st Pic) is a good preservative. After 15 days of growing mold, many of the items in the terrarium had minimal mold. However, salt had a lot of mold. (2nd pic)

Students and parents worked together on our last Family World Day of the year. We have been focusing on Costa Rica. We have created several artifacts throughout the year. For this last day, we designed Costa Rican Oxcarts. Lot's of cr8ivity going on!!

Students did an amazing job hitting their Accelerated Reader Points goals! So proud of my "AllStars"! On to Trimester 2 to shatter those goals!!! @JuarezScholars

We did our 2nd Common Sense lesson on being a Super Digital Citizen. They were doing their comic strips. Love seeing their amazing Creativity and computer skills.

@JuarezScholars #TeamAESD Second Step lesson activity on Accepting Differences. Using concentric circles, students had to find others that shared their same interests. Many students discovered new things about their classmates they didn't know.

@JuarezScholars #Bethechange Mr. Salloum went on a mission trip for his church over the weekend. Kids at the Estado 29 Orphanage in Mexico receiving the socks from our Juarez Scholars. They were so thankful and appreciative! What an experience!
