🔵 13 грудня Т.в.о. Постійного Представника Президента України в Автономній Республіці Крим Ольга Куришко взяла участь у панельній дискусії на тему "Виклики правозахисту в умовах колоніалізму", яка відбулася в межах правозахисної конференції "Права, війна, антиколоніалізм". Конференція була організована міжнародною правозахисною організацією @Amnesty_UA спільно з @NaUKMA.

До дискусії в межах конференції також долучилися Тарас Лютий, філософ, письменник, викладач НаУКМА, Галина Котлюк, культурологиня, координаторка програми "Гендерна демократія" Фонду @ua_boell, Вероніка Вельч, директорка Amnesty International Ukraine та @kipiani, історик, сержант @khartiiabrygada. Обговорення модерувала Анастасія Багаліка — журналістка, гендерна експертка, директорка правозахисного департаменту @DocudaysUA.

У межах дискусії учасники обговорили виклики правозахисту в умовах колоніального характеру політики росії щодо України. Було зазначено про недостатнє розуміння цієї ситуації з боку міжнародних партнерів та необхідність пояснення українського колоніального досвіду, зокрема країнам країн Африки, Азії, Центральної та Південної Америки. Учасники наголошували на важливості самоусвідомлення українського суспільства та формулювання власного наративу про колоніалізм, а також на ролі пропаганди, яку Росія використовує для приховування своїх дій.

💬 "Говорити з міжнародними партнерами потрібно мовою фактів і раціоналізму. Їм важко емоційно відчути наше горе — вони сприймають його через наслідки та конкретні прояви. Тому, коли ми говоримо про колоніальну політику Росії, ми беремо факти та показуємо їх. Надбання Кримського півострова, як частина України — це культурна спадщина всього світу. Ми намагаємося пов’язувати матеріальну і нематеріальну спадщини з загальноєвропейською та світовою культурою, аби залучити міжнародну підтримку", — зазначила Ольга Куришко.
