#chess#FIDE This item as annex 4.3.1.4c should have NEVER been part of the GA agenda as it directly asks from delegates to violate the FIDE Chapter. It is VERY suspicious that FIDE is keeping it in the agenda. Delegates should be on alert mode.
Bad news is that russian leadership of @FIDE_chess breaks rules and disregards statutory documents of the federation. So they still can try to carry on some way of illegal voting or “advisory vote” as they call it in couluars.
If that happens, we have legal actions prepared.
Day 1/2 of @FIDE_chess General Assembly ends with a clear position:
There is no legal way to make GA vote for returning of russia and belarus under its flags. The Constitutional Commission made its clear position. Period.
And that’s a good news.

Complete chaos @FIDE Congress. Appeals from delegates to ask questions of Ethics Chair Candidates refused by Roberto Rivello Electronic vote a fiasco 220 votes for 170 candidates. Delegate next to me voted 3 times 🤣 I congratulated delegates on getting more votes than Putin
#chess#FIDE The fiasco with the Ethics Commission elections continues with a manual voting. There can be absolutely no other legit result than Yolander Persaud winning (as proportionally obvious after the first "wrong" results).
russian leader of @FIDE_chess implements russian style of voting at GA.
Arkady Dvorkovich introduced new electronic voting system and it broke the same day. With 174 registered delegates the system gave 220 votes.
Arkady, stop turning @FIDE_chess into russia.

Interim good news from the @FIDE_chess GA in Budapest:
Chairman of the Constitutional Commission Roberto Rivello reported:
1. Complaint of russian CF is not admissible.
2. Request of Kyrgyz CF can’t be submitted to the vote of GA and should stay in the hands of FIDE Council.
Congratulations to @MagnusCarlsen for the well deserved award and gratitude for unwavering position on the russian attempt to bring their bloody flag and anthem back to a civilised world.
