Uber&Lyft Driver Los Angeles. Providing info, to help drivers maximize earnings. Here, you will find the good, bad and ugly side of being a RideShare driver.
Looks like the #Uber, #Lyft, #doordash drivers #ValentineDay strike has some momentum. There is definitely plenty of media coverage. https://t.co/glrZ5EMk8g
To @Uber_Support@AskLyft although I already know the answer to this. Can you rent a car through the Uber program and drive it for LYFT as well, and vice versa?
To put this in perspective, #Uber is taking 80.55% of the total fare, and giving the driver roughly 20%. This is the exact opposite of past fare structures, when Uber took 20%, and drivers got 80%.
#Uber#Lyft ok, so there is now a legitimate research study confirming what most of us already know. Policy and law makers are becoming more aware. Uber’s Las Vegas fiasco re: Surge to customers, During A State of Emergency should have been a wake up call. https://t.co/aWJddRTvVU
@SanFranAnt I know, right! All #Uber did was use synonyms in their statement. #Lyft has definitely got back into the ring with Uber as @davidrisher said they would, but it remains to be seen as a benefit to the drivers. It’s all focused on customers.
So #Uber got ride of “Select.” I don’t believe there reasons stated. It’s really a response to “Lyft removing LUX. Select has been in this predicament for more than 5 years at Uber’s own doing of where they placed it on the rider’s app. Buried way down the list, out of sight.
Hertz is scaling back its EV ambitions because its Teslas keep getting damaged. Uber drivers, who are using about half of Hertz’s Teslas, are damaging their cars more than Hertz expected. https://t.co/TB7rFDe6Ax
@legendarymo@davidrisher You don’t get it. #1, it’s False Advertising!
Issue #2 they killed LUX, which paid more than their new Comfort but if your car isn’t 2018 or newer, you can’t drive for it. So, 1000’s of drivers just took a 2x-3x pay cut. #FACTS
Can you spot the lie?
Can you see what’s missing from the description of #Lyft’s new Extra Comfort ride category? That’s right, it’s the word, LUXURY. Because EC isn’t LUXury. Yet, look what category it’s in. @davidrisher Didn’t you just get rid of LUX? Smell that? Fishy!
Yesterday, the new #Lyft, Extra Comfort ride category was offering good fares in the morning, but by the time the afternoon came, the fares,
they were offering, were in the gutter! They are still in the gutter this morning!
The new #Lyft Extra Comfort ride category is blowing #Uber Comfort away. Same trip duration but substantially different distance. Lyft 9.9mi@$33.35 and @Uber 21.3mi for only $28.63
Once again, #Lyft@davidrisher here is another example of the actual trip being longer than the original estimate, but the driver, ME, is not paid for the 2 extra miles driven.
#Lyft@davidrisher here is the rip off. The trip took 15 minutes more than the original estimate! And that’s not considered, “significantly longer,” that you don’t pay the driver for the extra time spent? This is exactly what @sergioaved at The Rideshare Guy spoke about.
Drivers Beware! @AskLyft app is unselecting, ride types in the driver’s app, on its own. When this happens, you won’t receive any Trip requests. #Lyft#Rideshare#Uber
