🚨 SCIENTISTS SAY OCTOPUSES COULD RULE EARTH IF HUMANS DIE OUT
Makes sense..
If humanity were to vanish, octopuses might become Earth’s next civilization-builders, say experts.
Professor Tim Coulson of Oxford University believes octopuses’ intelligence, tool-use, adaptability, and communication skills give them an edge to dominate post-human Earth.
While they’re unlikely to become land creatures, Coulson suggests octopuses could develop underwater civilizations and even create SCUBA-like breathing gear to extend their time on land.
Their decentralized nervous system and problem-solving abilities make them strong contenders to evolve into the next dominant species.
