@LanceMcAlister@GoBearcatsFB Dion Sanders. He has proven he can recruit and coach. The entertainment value of having him as the face of the program would be off the charts.
Covid-19 is a headache for Iranian students, but their struggles to get to the U.S. for fall have been compounded by onerous security screenings and the need to travel to third countries for visa interviews https://t.co/LV9dSK7sKy
@Espngreeny The are so many. A few of my favorites include "Downtown" Freddy Brown https://t.co/zc9X8a6eqX
"The Human Highlight Reel" Dominic Wilkins https://t.co/3QLtti1x7W
and Vinny the "Microwave" Johnson https://t.co/W9ecUGiZmH
Ken Cuccinelli, the acting deputy secretary of homeland security, said college administrators bear responsibility for fraud in a work program for international students: They exercised a “willful ignorance or a level of negligence.” My latest: https://t.co/halsjQQzjm
So one day a rule gets proposed that will require hundreds of thousands of extension applications to be filed, then they approve a means to allow for premium processing of those petitions at $1,750 a pop. Both genius and reprehensible!

NEW: In a proposed rule to be released tomorrow, the Trump administration would limit the amount of time international students can stay in the U.S., from the time to complete a degree to a fixed amount of time https://t.co/JQYKEWXdNS
So the agency that currently takes 9 months or more to process any I-539 is going to implement a rule that will end up requiring hundreds of thousands of additional I-539 applications to be filed? This won't end well for students, institutions or DHS!

The new guidance on student visas will disappoint colleges who had pushed DHS to allow newly enrolling international students to come to the U.S. even if their institutions would be wholly online in fall.
Students, of course, can take remote classes from overseas.
Thank you Senator Brown @SenSherrodBrown for showing support for the institutions of higher education in Ohio and all the great international students who study and live in our state by signing https://t.co/q15CKcxgyt
Viktor Lakhin is officially a Bearcat! 🔴⚫️
Lakhin averaged 9.8 points and 7.0 rebounds while shooting 47.2 percent from the field at the 2019 FIBA Under 18 European Championship.

Great leadership from @RepSteveStivers showing he understands the importance of international students and OPT to higher education and the U.S. economy. #PreserveOPT@CGSGradEd@NAFSA
25% of the University of Cincinnati's total international student population are on OPT. We need them! Our employers need them! #PreserveOPT@NAFSA@CGSGradEd
So the Trump Administration slows processing times, increases denials, and bars certain applications, causing USCIS to run out of money, and now applicants have to make up the deficit? https://t.co/oYH1GkeuE9
I'm not sure I believe this figure. I wish SEVIS was accurate and up-to-date with such data. It would nice if we could run a report to actually see how many of our active students are outside the US.
One finding in a new survey from @IIEglobal really stands out: 9 out of 10 international students at the colleges surveyed did not return to their home countries after COVID-19 closed campuses. That’s right — 92% of current students are still in the U.S. https://t.co/l7o1gC2QWh
Working at a school where 25 - 30% of our international student population uses OPT, this has the potential to negatively impact our enrollment numbers.
A group of Republican senators are asking President Trump to suspend OPT, the postgraduate work program for international students, as well as the H-1B work visa, during the pandemic https://t.co/oKDniM2Yj0
Let's spend a minute on the context of this letter...
