Stop spreading the lie that Gojo’s empathy was taught by Geto! Long before Geto said a word, Gojo was already deeply attuned to Riko’s emotional state, insisting on taking her to the beach and deciding to scrap the mission if she didn't want to assimilate. +
I remember one of the first things Gojo asked after getting out of the Prison Realm was how the civilians were doing. If he didn’t care about ordinary people, why would he even ask?
He literally apologized in Shibuya for not being able to save everyone. He felt bad that people died. That’s not someone who doesn’t care.
And the whole “Geto taught Gojo empathy” thing is just nonsense. Nobody had to tell Gojo to care about Riko. Geto wasn’t standing there feeding him lines.
The “moral compass” quote gets misused all the time too. The Japanese literally says it was at that time. The question was about Gojo’s mindset after his awakening, around the time Riko died, when he was mentally unstable. It wasn’t talking about his entire life, his whole character, or all of Hidden Inventory.
Which is exactly why we see Gojo caring about other people later.
Cutting out the original Japanese just to force the “Gojo doesn’t care about people” unless it’s geto who taught him to narrative is so low
