BREAKING: After weeks of strikes and protests, Nabisco workers have voted to ratify a new contract & end their strike.
The new agreement includes $.60/hour wage increases each year for 4 years, a $5K bonus for all employees, and blocks Mondelez's planned health care cuts.
did it hurt? when ur college prioritizes profit over its own students amid a global pandemic—disproportionately affects low income and disabled students, and students of color—and recommends hotels as a solution to the housing crisis?
We boycott the products workers make when they’re striking as a form of solidarity and to bolster their efforts to bring the bosses to the table to negotiate a contract. If products don’t sell there’s no profit to be made which puts workers in a better position to challenge power

Two years ago today, Elijah McClain was taken off life support. Two years without justice. Officers stopped Elijah while he was walking home, placed him in a chokehold, and paramedics injected him with ketamine. No one has been held accountable.
Elijah should still be alive.

Tenants must rely on their landlords to fill out a form for its disbursement.
Why would a landlord go through the trouble when they can evict families and raise the rent on whoever occupies the rent?
Profits are in command.
Evictions ramping up while ~90% of the federal rent relief dollars are still unspent is what happens when landlords get rights and tenants get means-tested assistance.
