The labels stopped meaning anything a while ago.
What actually tells you a startup will win:
→ Fast time to wow for customers
→ A repeatable motion, in delivery pattern or business outcome
→ Value that keeps compounding for customers.
#AIStartups#ServiceAsSoftware
Investor: "So… are you SaaS or services?"
Customer: "Can it start Monday?"
What nobody says out loud:
Half the "AI SaaS" startups are services with a login page.
Half the "AI services" startups have better tech than the SaaS ones.
@vaibhavbetter In the upper SMB and mid market segment, we have been doing AI transformation and we have productized FDE in most parts. We have tried pulling in FDDEs to get foot in door faster. What you think about this maket?
@radika_agarwal I have sold tech to SMEs and I come from a SME family business background. I can vouch for this as this is actually a well written article covering state of selling indian SMEs.
My two cents on this topic
Treat selling tech to SMEs as more of B2C than B2B startup. CAC vs LTV
@HarshalsinghCN Do you have a embedding model ? Right now we are planning to use LFM 2.5 350 M model for edge usecasr but we substantially want to cut on RAM usage without compromising quality
Today we share the worldview behind our mission.
Human values don't average out. Local knowledge can't be centralized. The good future has many AIs, raised in different places, shaped by the people they serve, disagreeing with each other the way we do.

AI News Headline: Anthropic plans to open an office in Bengaluru next year.
I have been closely following recent developments around global AI players, and here’s what I sense from their moves:
➡️ They are aiming for a major share in the B2B vertical AI market as well.
➡️ They are pushing hard on multiple fronts. Having invested heavily in foundational technologies, they can’t afford blind spots in both B2C products and now the B2B solutions market.
➡️ They are targeting this by partnering with both product and services startups and launching direct consultancy businesses for enterprises.
➡️ What surprises me is their assessment of India - not just as a tech talent or cost arbitrage center for global businesses, but recognizing the huge breadth and depth of the local startups and enterprise market, which could shape the next 5–10 years.
I will be meeting some of the @AnthropicAI team this weekend and look forward to meaningful conversations.
We are living in the 10x era. Elite engineers + AI-native PMs = compounding speed. I focus on assemble these teams and I’m donning my hardcore engineering hat again. This edge is a org moat. Serious tech first orgs: stay near engineering; everything else follows.
