9/11 happened on the first week of my first ‘real’ job. I was in Sacramento. I was a public servant. I still feel the same emotions as I did that day. Liberty has a price. And I hope we #neverforget

Six years ago, San Diego lost a friend, colleague, brilliant data scientist and genuine and good human being @arnaud_vedy. His spirit of creative service, love for his adopted home town, and humble desire to do right by his neighbor live on. #PandA4ever
@MayorToddGloria Adrian’s someone you ask to do something once and never have to worry about him getting it done. His dedication to, and impact on, the people he serves is real. Happy and proud for Adrian and not surprised he continues to excel. Although I know he is not far, we will miss him.
We founded @OpenGovInc in 2012; today we announce its acquisition by Cox Enterprises for $1.8 billion.

Proud of my contributions to this journey over the last almost 3 years. It’s been an amazing ride with some wonderful people who care a lot about helping government employees be more effective while using technology to streamline processes for their constituents too!

And now for your 77th reminder: we are privileged to have the right to choose our elected officials. Vote, or be comfortable losing out to the interests of those that do.

Thanks also goes to City staff who work very hard to put together applications, coordinate between departments and agencies, and ensure we’re putting our best foot forward. Special shout-out to our team in the Government Affairs Department.
