Congrats to @UTCC_ on a superb win in the @BurghleyPark 6s last night.
A superb win in the final against @OakhamCricket in a Rutland Derby.
Another amazing week of cricket and a brilliant event to be a part of.
Hard luck to losing semi finalists @Uff_Cricket and @BurghleyPark
As we get towards the end of January, it’s time to add Shrove Tuesday (pancake day!) to your diaries.
As per previous years, the village hall is ready to welcome you for pancakes and fun. It’s just £3 and UVH’s talented chefs will make you as many pancakes as we can!
Uffington village hall has been awarded a government grant to affix solar panels to our roof to help contribute to net zero.
Of course, many will worry that the thatched roof will be aesthetically damaged but we don’t believe it will be unduly affected (photos below of options).
Well done to Uffington run club runners who did the Peterborough Bauble Bimble half marathon today.
Darren Barber (1.41), Ben Donovan (1.55), Dean Cornish (1.58).
If you fancy running with others in the village, let us know! Weekly runs, varying levels.
The annual Christmas Crafternoon took place at the village hall yesterday and was once again a huge success.
Well done to Vanessa Kimberley and her merry band of helpers on the day. Some excellent Christmas crafts were made, the children were fed and even Father Christmas visited
Another sold out Spooky Disco at Uffington Village Hall. Great time had by all and another brilliant disco by Steve Kidzco.
Thanks to everyone who came and we hope you enjoyed! Same time next year!!
It’s back!
Aimed at primary school aged children, the spooky disco 2024 is now open for booking.
If you want to book your child a place, email Dean on [email protected]. I’ll then add your child to the list and send payment info nearer the time. Capacity is 50 children.
