You don't improve life by isolating your decisions from the crowd. The village is there to remind you when you look or behave in a way that doesn't work.

Yes, it's uncomfortable. Even maddening.

But life cannot improve by solely pretending your distinct behaviors are superior to the crowd's.

The group is nature's correction mechanism. We function as collective networks much more than as individuals.

If you can't take judgement from others you're a dead node.
