@BornInvestor You can be successful in trading and just be lucky, see the book Fooled by Randomness. They had a strategy that worked for the current market regime. They will not be top performers going forward because I see no real edge there.

I wonder if if there was a long bear market, the people in the new Market Wizards book would be all different names. I don't know

@gfc4 @Tradestl @ROBTHEMARKET Do you buy the argument that the Market Wizards are just lucky? That if you take tens of millions of people trading, just by pure luck, some will have insane track records? I think Nassim Taleb said this in a book.
