Gutted. Tonight wasn’t the result we all hoped for, but this England team has given it their all.
The passion and energy they’ve shown representing the badge has made us all proud.
This was the earlier warnings of Boko Haram. 'No to Western Education'
They've started active combat against Western Education, yet the State looks on! 😭
The news of the abduction of a school principal, students, and a NECO official in Kogi State while the students were writing their examination is both heartbreaking and deeply troubling. That innocent children can no longer go to school, study, or sit for a national examination without the fear of criminal violence is a stark reminder of how far insecurity has eroded the sanctity of our educational institutions and the safety of our citizens. This is happening at a time when education is our most needed asset for development and growth.
Our schools must never become theatres of fear; they should symbolise hope and the promise of a better future, not terror and uncertainty.
I call on the relevant security agencies to act with urgency, deploy every available resource, and ensure the safe and unconditional rescue of all those abducted. At the same time, government at all levels must take deliberate steps to strengthen security around our schools and restore public confidence in our education system.
My thoughts and prayers are with the affected families, the school community, and the people of Kogi State. We cannot continue to normalise these recurring tragedies. A nation that cannot guarantee the safety of its children is mortgaging its future.

We have been invited to Singapore for 2027. We will challenge their best students in Maths.
The winners of the 2027 South East Maths Olympiad will challenge the best in Singapore in 2027. 56 other countries will join too.
I like how the world is now taking an interest in our children.
I am benchmarking our education against that of Singapore, Finland, Shanghai, China, Canada, and the US.
This is how we can move from being a third-world country to a first-world country.
The future is looking exciting.
When I told Professor Wole Soyinka that my knee surgery cost about 39 million and that I had about 10 million to pay the hospital, he said: “Let me get to Lagos this Friday and see what I can send.”
I sent him the bank details of the hospital.
By Monday, he messaged me: “Receivng no notification from you, I asked my bank for confirmation that the money has been sent. Forwarding separately the affirmation documents from the bank in case you need to track the funds. Bank document attached in case you need to track the remittance. I just wish to ensure it's landed in the right place.”
When I reached out to the hospital, they confirmed they had received the complete money.
What could I have done without him?
Dangote and BUA are in trouble and very worried now.
Huaxin just got Senate approval to complete an 83.81% acquisition of Lafarge Africa from Holcim. $1 billion deal and it’s Done deal, not a rumour. Lafarge Africa controls about 18% of Nigeria’s cement market, while Dangote controls 50% and BUA 32% and now a Chinese industrial giant owns it Lafarge.
This is why I am smiling. Huaxin did not buy into Nigeria’s cement market to play nice with an existing cartel-like pricing structure. Insiders already say the new owners are building a pricing model that could disrupt how cement is sold in this country. When you buy market share, you do not protect the old margins of your competitors. You break them to take their customers.
Dangote and BUA have enjoyed a comfortable duopoly setting the tone on cement prices while Nigerians pay N8,000 for a 50kg bag. That comfort just got a new neighbour with deep pockets, four plants, and a mandate to grow. Huaxin does not owe Dangote or BUA any loyalty to keep prices where they are.
If cement prices crash, ordinary Nigerians trying to build a house win. The two men who have quietly controlled this market for years just got real competition, and honestly, it is about time.
@felixherbt Unfortunately, this truth will never be told to Nigerians even if someone like PO or any other trusted candidates assume the leadership of this country. Because, the so-called peace deal signed before election says a lot. Also, is issue of National security and intl observers!
Dear @fkeyamo, first of all, I never expected anybody serving under this corrupt and criminal government of Bola Tinubu to be truthful, including you.
Again, not too long ago, some people saw themselves as gods in this nation because they occupied one position or the other.
People like former AGF, Abubakar Malami, former CCB chairman, Danladi Umar, former Kaduna governor, Elrufai among others, did more than you are doing today.
These people I mentioned are being persecuted by the current failed government of Bola Tinubu which you are part of.
Before now, they believed they owned the country, but many of them are in prison right now.
I'm not writing this to make you change, but to remind you that power is transient.
Freedom at last!
Thank you Mr. President, PBAT.
Thank you @OfficialDSSNG
Thank you @DHQNigeria
Thank you @PoliceNG
Thanks to all who played a role.
My dearest colleagues, WELCOME HOME.
Our cherished children, the future of our nation, WELCOME HOME.
Updated: in the course of the rescue operation, eight of the kidnappers were arrested and are now in DSS custody, while some of them were neutralised. There was no quid pro quo in the rescue as one of the terrorists, a kingpin, that the kidnappers demanded his release, is being prosecuted for his atrocities. The security agencies will give full account soon.
