1. तीर्थंकर महावीर स्वामी ने किसी को भी अपने धर्म के नाम को सरनेम के तौर पर उपयोग करने की अनुमती नहीं दी, ये अनाधिकृत उपयोग हैं।
2. जैन नाम का सरनेम के तौर पर उपयोग के कारण निशाना केवल वह व्यक्ति न बनते हुए पूरा धर्म और समाज बनता हैं,

I know this is an unpopular opinion, and I say this with utmost respect for our traditions - Jains please do not use "Jain" as your surname.

I understand that carrying "Jain" as our surname fills us with pride. It represents our values, our heritage, and our identity, however, historically, using "Jain" as a surname wasn't an ancient practice – our gotras or professions were our surnames.

While adopting "Jain" as a common surname has united our identity, time and again we've witnessed its downsides too.

Recent events also show that when one person with a 'Jain' surname makes a mistake, the entire community faces scrutiny. One individual's actions shouldn't define millions of Jains.

This isn't about hiding our identity or feeling ashamed – not at all. It's about protecting our community from collective judgment based on individual actions. Our identity isn't just in our surname – it's in how we live, the compassion we show, and the principles we uphold every day.

I know many will disagree, and I respect that completely. However, one person's wrongful deed can have ripple effects we never intended.
