Science Assessment made easy. At the start of a unit, provide key vocabulary for the kids to traffic light. They write a definition for green words. They annotate in a different colour at the end of the unit. I find this so valuable to help adapt my lessons to suit my kids!

Yuck! A great activity to show the importance of thorough teeth-cleaning and that it can’t be a rushed job. Can’t wait to do this with my Year 4s. Pop some eggs in coffee overnight and then have a competition to see who can get their egg the cleanest again. #year4science #teeth

Year 1 loved being archaeologists in order to learn about skeletons! The skeletons were pre-made using good old salt-dough and buried in trays of sand. Love to start a science lesson with a good book! #year1science #animalsincludinghumans #primaryscience #scienceforkids #science
