@SafdarAlam Thanks. I knew they wouldn't/couldn't be buying and owning physical metal or any commodity. TBH it sounds worse than the 'normal' murabaha contracts. At least in those situations you end up with a car or something.
@brucefenton All of a sudden, everyone is talking about meritocracy. When hiring on 'merit' wasn't about competency but contacts, the school you went to and ethnicity. I've worked in the most competitive industry and seen loads of useless people hired from the top schools.
@brucefenton That's obviously a bad example, not even worth discussing. But it's strange how for decades when white unqualified and useless people were always hired, due to likeness and contacts, people didn't make a big deal of it.

@brucefenton These issues can't be discussed in 200 or so characters. That's why it's best to refrain from raising them. The only thing I will say is that your comment was patronising at the least. When America has such a problematic history that continues to this day....
