Great to join health workers and partners at the national polio campaign in #Chad today, which aims at vaccinating children across the country.

At the Polio Oversight Board meeting, I met traditional rulers in Nigeria whose support is key for upcoming campaigns.
As I shared with them, ensuring children do not contract polio is top of our agenda.
The last mile is tough, but we’ve overcome challenges before and will again!
Polio continues to threaten the lives of children especially those in the most fragile communities.
At the Riyadh International Humanitarian Forum, we welcomed @KSRelief_EN’s generous $500M contribution to #GPEI towards a polio-free future for all children.

Today, we hosted @GillesFagninou, UNICEF Regional Director for West and Central Africa, on a visit to Maiduguri🇳🇬
In 2024, over 3000 conflict-affected children received family tracing and skill acquisition support.
At the Hajj IDP camp, he met some of them and saw products made.
