The hedgerow shines with moisture today, as passing rains leave their mark on leaf and grass.
The sky is some kind of marvel, in and of itself.

@unaminhkavanagh Hiya! I'm Ulrika-Igraine, queer musician/artist/poet. I follow you mostly for the Irish related content, but also because what you say, how you say it, moves. Trying to permanently relocate to Ireland, but being in the culture sector...well, it's hard.
@ExeterCouncil@DevonCC Which is how you manage to not deal with them. Sending ordinary people round in circles. I bet it doesn't look like that picture outside your house!
@DevonCC thinks this is an ok way for it to look outside our front door after rubbish collection. Shame on you for providing such a poor "service"!

Water doesn't need a long, rambling explanation.
It just is.
When you're in it, you're light enough to let your mind travel, and your body float.

Such a damn waste of a young life, a person, a GIRL.
Her name was Brianna Ghey.
Her pronouns; She/Her.
Calling her anything else is being complicit in the violence that cut her from this world.
I feel heartbroken for the person I was in my early 20s, who felt he had to work so tirelessly to save the world, the environment, his friends & family; he had to be healthy and fit and positive at all times; he was so determined to be a healer, naturopath and always eat "clean".
With just a week left in Sweden, I feel the profound loneliness that comes from being in between places. Between past and now, here and where I'm going. Lots of answers to be found this year.

An insightful and brave article.
There is *no way* to make anything better directing violence at those already victimised by it. Strength + positive change grows from compassion and realising we're all part of the same community. The Fat Cats of the world are the real enemy.
We have a problem.
A small but real racist social movement has emerged in Ireland.
I've written this article to outline the dangers as I see them and what I think anti-racists and anti-fascists could do to respond.

Yes. To all of the above.
And wow, the comments! So many men pouring out vitriol from the cozy anonymity of their screens. So much easier to dehumanise and debase women that way. Big, brave boys.
There has to be an end. There has to be a STOP. We have to keep talking about it and fighting violence and inequality aimed at women. Keep making it an issue and making people uncomfortable with it; violence, assault, harassment, rape are not exactly comfortable either!

A 65 year old Limerick man drove a 15 year old girl with an intellectual disability to a secluded location and sexually assaulted her. Every week there is a sexual assault case on young women in Limerick. Enough is enough. This must end.

@elisaodonovan Thank you @elisaodonovan for tirelessly lifting this (and others related to women's rights and women's health) and speaking out for change.
For the land is the witch’s temple. The slow brook sings prayers for her. Trees whisper wisdom. The core of our witchery is relationships to the green powers. These are made strong and fierce in the feral spaces of wood, hedge and shore. - #EmilyBanting, 1981 #WitchWednesday
