History is clear and cannot be distorted by such misleading narratives. As documented in the autobiography of Mir Ahmed Yar Khan, the former Khan of Kalat who led the Kalat during 1947/48, the Kalat state, along with the princely states of Makran, Kharan, & Lasbela voluntarily acceded to Pakistan in 1948 under the British partition plan.
