Jionism का नारा था - Land without People and People without land.

यानी यहूदी वे लोग हैं जिनके पास ज़मीन नहीं और फलस्तीन वह जगह है जहाँ लोग नहीं रहते।

यानी वे फ़लस्तीन की हरी-भरी ज़मीन पर सैकड़ों वर्षों से रह रहे फ़लस्तीनी ईसाई और मुसलमान लोगों के अस्तित्व को ही नहीं माँगे थे। गोल्डा मायरा ने कहा था- There is no Palestine.

और इसे सच करने के लिये पिछली सदी की शुरुआत से अब तक लगातार फ़लस्तीनी लोगों की ज़मीनें छीनी गईं, घर उजाड़े गये, गाँव और शहर बर्बाद कर दिये गये। इन सब जगहों पर बाहर से आये यहूदी बसा दिये गये।

UN का कोई चार्टर, कोई समझौता नहीं माना इज़राइल ने, बच्चे औरतें बूढ़े लगातार मारे जाते रहे सुर दुनिया आँख मूँदे देखती रही।

यासर अराफ़ात के साथ ओस्लो समझौते के बाद लगा था हालात सुधरेंगे लेकिन इज़रायली दक्��िणपंथ ने ऐसा होने नहीं दिया और हमास तथा हिज़बुल्ला जैसे संगठनों का ज़ोर बढ़ता गया।

जब फ़लस्तीनी किसी तरह का विरोध करते हैं तो इसे आतंकवाद कहा जाता है, जब इज़रायल ख���ले तौर पर नरसंहार करता है तो सब ख़ामोश रहते हैं।
