I think @Bybit_Official has lost it. I didn’t want to do this since it’s just $159, but could be $10k next:

About a week ago, a friend sent me $159 to help him trade to naira on P2P since he’s not familiar with the process. I proceeded and opened a sell order, The buyer claimed they had sent the money, but I didn’t receive it. So, after a few hours of waiting, I opened an appeal. Bybit asked me for proof and I provided everything, including my bank statement.

- I contacted my bank and there was no transfer like that to my account. The supposed buyer is barely responding to my messages, claiming he has eye problems. Personally, I think he’s a scammer and knows exactly how this situation will turn out

Back to where I stopped: I had to wait several days for a response due to Bybit’s ridiculously slow P2P system. Bybit finally got back to me and said the buyer made the payment using a third-party account, which supposedly violates their terms. Now, Bybit is asking me to refund money I never even received - which was the whole reason I opened the appeal in the first place. If I don’t, they’ll cancel the order and release the USDT to the buyer.

So basically, I’m the one being punished for the buyer’s fault. You’re not faulting him for using a third-party account, but you want to fault me, who wasn’t even aware he was sending from one. Does Bybit think I’m a mind reader or a fortune teller? How does that make any sense? 😂
