do we all have that one non-oomf that’s so interconnected with their twt circle of friends its basically impossible to get a follow back or interact w their tweets without feeling like that human in peppa pig who is he reaction pic
oomfs i swear on my account i will read so many comics when school starts i just cant get myself to sit down and do anything but multitask during the remainder of summer
my point was that queer people being hateful toward heterosexuality (without valid reason) shouldn’t be normalized, especially not toward fellow queer people who happen to be partly heterosexual im so sorry if my point came across as anything else that’s simply what i meant ☹️
@surrviiver i hate how heterophobia is becoming normalized among queer people, it’s genuinely become hateful instead of just poking fun at heteronormativity. what happened to ‘you cant control who you like & it doesn’t change who you are’ ? double standards everyone….
@shiruxx__@surrviiver we’re talking about bi/pansexuals here, who are a part of the queer community and not less than simply because they are in a male-female relationship. both could very well be queer and the fact fellow queer ppl are ignoring it simply because of that is harmful to their identities
@yuridevvil@surrviiver i didnt know that was how its been used/created thats my bad. (kinda straying from the main point of the og tweet) however im sorta referring to the fact many queer people r starting to completely detach themselves from non-queer anything and r seeing it as bad or weird
@yuridevvil@surrviiver ofc there is no specific word for the fact bi/pan/etc people are being erased of their queerness by fellow queer people just because they are partly heterosexual. i think its obvious that was what i was using it for in relation to the post above which i am just adding onto
@fullmetalfroge@surrviiver i wasn’t sure what other word would describe it and i didn’t say anything about straight people being oppressed. no of course they are not but at this rate bi/pan/etc people will just because they are also attracted to the opposite gender. that’s heterophobia, no???
sometimes i follow an account for a long time/ i constantly see their tweets on my timeline that my brain registers them as an oomf and i fully embarrass myself by commenting on their tweet like we’re moots
@LolpyDulpy@surrviiver no exactly!!!!! unless they believe in/act upon harmful beliefs and discriminate against others nobody is deserving of feeling like their sexuality/sexual preferences are wrong just because of the gender they’re attracted to and have no control over
@violentte_@surrviiver oh my god this is so so so true thank you for saying this. especially when youre used to being in queer spaces & being around queer people it feels wrong/different not to be, or not being ‘equally gay’ as everybody else. or even just enjoying non-queer things, i get it
@surrviiver and its gotten so bad some gay people genuinely become afraid to accept they’re starting to become attracted to the opposite gender or even feel guilty for enjoying a straight ship😭😭😭 (IVE personally gone through this and it sucks)
