@swapnakpanda He is selling his product.
Take it with a grain of salt on what he says.
Of course there is always some truth to what he is saying but most of it is fear based marketing.
@SimonHoiberg The right question to ask is are you in the tech business or problem solving business?
If using these services help you move fast, you get people to sign up then hire someone to help you.
Even if they change price you can find something else to sell.
Momentum is underrated
@marclou I am sold on this mindset. He is focused on what matters and most of us are wasting time debating the new workflow on the block.
There will always be something different but it’s just noise.
Fundamentals!
Commit and just build.
@yegor256 This whole replacement talk is pointless. The day AI can actually replace developers, it can replace any job that requires a computer and with robotics in 50 years probably also labour jobs.
Programming is logic and creativity combined.
@fidexcode Ideas are not original in 99.99 percent of cases.
execution is anyways harder.
I also see same videos on instagram with people taking the script and just using their own face.
Its not just related to apps. its a validated strategy that is very common.
@asaio87 I feel AI will explode the demand for saas. problems that were too tiny and expensive to solve can now be solved. So even if AI gets good, the demand for software will only increase.
unpopular opinion: I feel so many people jump on the band wagon of new web design trends. Every pattern that works has already been created, we need to focus on positioning and not make a new carousel that does back flips.
@Govindtwtt honestly, for a website to work the content is more important.
ofcourse the design needs to be based on good ui and ux but still, even if the website looks vibecoded and the message is good.
That works.
@om_patel5 People working at Anthropic are not newbies, they may not be typing the code but these people are probably engineers who understand everything at a deeper level than most.
@ujjwalscript It was always about thinking like a programmer and not learning syntax but thinking is a very high effort task, so all this hype cycle around AI
@ujjwalscript AI is great for MVPs which in itself is a win..
What you are talking about is scalability and readability.
To get an MVP out there and test ideas is where the leverage is.
I would still use AI as an assistant to code and not just prompting with just English.
