After a certain age, your parents slowly become your children. They ask simple questions, repeat stories, and depend on your patience the way you once depended on theirs. Very few understand this role reversal. What looks like innocence or inconvenience is really time coming full circle. Don't correct them harshly. Don't rush them. Care for them the way they once protected you. This is not a burden. It is repayment.

See how my husband and I can comfortably take a walk at 2 a.m. without a second thought because we feel safe. Wallahi moments like this make me weep for my country. Safety is such a basic human right, yet for so many of us back home, it remains a luxury. 🥲🥲💔
Great question.
Yes, blood will come out if you poke almost anywhere.
But for a blood test, we don’t just need blood—we need a clean, continuous sample.
Veins are:
✅ Closer to the skin
✅ Larger and easier to access
✅ Low-pressure vessels (safer)
✅ Less painful than hitting arteries
If we “chook” randomly, we may get:
❌ Very little blood
❌ Tissue fluid mixed with the sample
❌ Bruising and pain
❌ An inaccurate test result
Think of it this way:
A vein is like tapping directly into a water pipe.
Poking anywhere else is like digging randomly in wet soil and hoping to collect enough water.

If your friends are working full time jobs, over 30, married/living with their partner, & have kids? You’re inevitably going to be playing catch up with them lol it should be even effort but you’re going to go days & weeks maybe a couple months w/o hearing from them sometimes
“I cook for my husband”= You’re a slave
“We split the bills”= Your husband is useless
“I spoil my wife”= You’re a simp
“I dress modestly”= You’re in an abusive marriage
“My wife and I make decisions together”= You’re not a real man
“I can’t do random nights out because I’m married” = You’re husband/wife is controlling
“My wife earns more than me”= You’re a useless leech
“My husband is the breadwinner”= You have no say since you bring nothing to the table
“I don’t need a male/female bestie because I’m married”= Your partner is insecure
This is how some of you see the world 😂
Y’all are far too pathetic and miserable to really understand what goes into making a marriage successful. Happy couples should keep it to themselves because you guys will find a fault in everything they do.
According to recent corporate filings, Dangote Refinery just consolidated its legacy construction debts into a fresh $4 billion senior syndicated term loan underwritten by a syndicate of 31 lenders (led by Afreximbank and Access Bank).
On the flip side, financial advisers are targeting an initial market valuation of $40 billion to $50 billion for the public listing.
If we take the conservative lower end of that valuation ($40 billion) and run the standard Islamic equity screen:
4 Billion Consolidated Debt/40 Billion Target Valuation = 10%
For a stock to be halal, its interest-bearing debt must not exceed 33% of its market value.
At a provisional 10%, the refinery is well positioned within the safe zone. The absolute final confirmation will drop the moment the SEC-approved prospectus locks in the exact initial share price.
However, structurally, it is on track to comfortably pass the halal screen. It’s will be a 100% halal investment.
(My Sources: Institutional investor briefs, Bloomberg valuation reports, and the Afreximbank syndicated loan disclosures).
This is what GMO did to Nigeria’s market. Those idiots who collected money to promote GMO and Bill Gates are now silent. Farmers’ adoption of GMO weakened indigenous crops and compromised soil health for ginger.
