Having your “life figured out” is such an interesting phrase.
If you have stability + a strong sense of purpose and direction you’re in a good place. It’s not like that sense of direction is static though.

A lot of trauma survivors are very kind & empathetic. When you offer that up, the cruelest of humans use it to hurt you. To be clear, a survivor doesn’t become a survivor because they were kind. They become a survivor because an abusive person chose to exploit their kindness.
May your high drama season come to an end.
May you be drawn to peace makers.
May your relationships flourish and bring out the best in you and the deep breath in you.
Dysfunctional families expect people to dissociate from reality to function.
The person who speaks up becomes the scapegoat.
