It was a conclusion that Justice Manmohan Singh Liberhan, who headed one of independent India’s longest-running commissions of inquiry, never wavered from until his last breath.

A Special National Investigation Agency (NIA) Court in Lucknow has acquitted a 78-year-old man in a 33-year-old sedition case, holding that the prosecution failed to prove the charges beyond reasonable doubt and could not produce crucial evidence linking him to the alleged offence.
Additional District and Sessions Judge and Special Judge (NIA) Umakant Jindal delivered the judgment on July 31, acquitting Mohammed Naeem, a resident of Ismailpur in Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur district. He had been facing trial under Sections 124A (sedition), 295A (outraging religious feelings) and 153B (imputations prejudicial to national integration) of the Indian Penal Code.
The case was registered at Kotwali Police Station in Gorakhpur in 1993.
According to the prosecution, on January 26, 1993, then Kotwali Inspector Pawan Kumar Singh and other police personnel were on patrol when they allegedly saw people hoisting black flags in the Ismailpur area and raising slogans such as “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Republic Day Murdabad.”
The FIR also alleged that the accused made statements referring to the demolition of the Babri Masjid, called for “another Pakistan” in India, and delivered speeches that promoted communal hatred.

Tahir Hussain's lawyer said the court did not say that Tahir Hussain or the other convicts directly killed Ankit Sharma.
She said they were convicted under Section 149 for being part of an unlawful assembly, not because the court found they used any weapon or played a direct role in the murder.
The verdict will be challenged in the High Court.
Communal violence targeting Muslims has continued in southeastern Nepal, with videos showing Hindu mobs setting Muslim homes and businesses on fire, assaulting Muslim residents, including elderly people, women and children, and burning Muslim skull caps (kufi/topi).
At least three people have reportedly been killed since the unrest began on Monday. Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli called for calm on Thursday and pledged an impartial investigation, while curfews remain in force across several districts amid fears of further violence.
There is no other society like India where the worst of the worst have such unrestrained license.
The lumpens, the violent militant extremists, and the total trash are allowed to harass and frighten ordinary citizens of the country.
You cannot name a single country.
These Kavadiyas are pure garbage.
